CERTIFICATIONS: Women's Rights Information Center is a Certified NJ State Training Providers and Official Microsoft® Testing Center.

DISPLACED HOMEMAKER (DH) SERVICES: Counseling, legal consultations, referrals, computer classes, job training, workshops and other services to help after divorce, separation, death or disability of a spouse or partner. Contact @ 201.568.1166.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Small Business Management Counseling - Women and men who are planning to launch a startup or who have an existing business can get confidential management advice from SCORE, a resource arm of the Small Business Administration. An experienced counselor provides assistance with business plans, financing, marketing, technology, franchising and more. Contact @ 201.568.1166.

EN ESPAÑOL - HISPANIC WOMEN’S SERVICES:Bilingual counselors provide assistance for women. Para las mujeres que hablan español, se ofrecen asesorías sobre carreras, búsqueda de empleo y entrenamiento. Tenemos también clases de inglés y de computadora.  Se le atenderá en español. Contactar a al 201.568.1166.

INGLES - ESL (ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE: Beginner, intermediate and advanced Computer/ESL classes, plus one-on-one English tutoring. Citizenship classes are also offered.

INFORMATION AND REFERRALS: Through our county-wide network of agencies and non-profit organizations, we can help you find resources and services to deal with a variety of personal and family needs. Call or come by anytime.

JOB MATCHING: Email your job posting or resume to info@womensrights.org for computerized matching/referral service.

LEGAL CONSULTATIONS: For family, matrimonial and child support issues. Half-hour appointments scheduled Monday evenings and one Thursday night a month. Contact @ 201.568.1166.

SHARED HOUSING FOR ONE-PARENT FAMILIES AND OTHERS: For help setting up a shared-living arrangement and finding a compatible housemate.

VOLUNTEERING: To contribute your time and talents to help the Center help other women. @ 201.568.1166. 

WOMEN’S HISTORY LIBRARY: Offering over 2,000 books for borrowing at no charge. Call for schedule.

UNEMPLOYMENT (UE) RE-TRAINING: Microsoft Office computer training for those receiveing unemployment benefits, needing new or upgraded skills, and eligible for training through the Bergen County One Stop System.

HOME HEALTH AIDE: Training, licensing and certification. Classes are scheduled monthly. Please call for dates and times.

WORKFIRST NEW JERSEY (WFNJ): Microsoft Office computer training, office skills, job placement assistance and ESL/Literacy classes for individuals moving from welfare to work and self-sufficiency. Contact @ 201.568.1166.
