For nearly forty years, Women's Rights Information Center has been a place where women facing economic and social barriers can regain the strength it takes to become independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient. In the past year alone, Women's Rights Information Center has helped:
  • 887 single mothers, displaced homemakers and low income women receive
  • 1389 services to help receive an education, find a job, or a home, plus
  • 1475 consultative services and referrals for legal issues, domestic violence prevention, mental health and basic needs.
Our goal is to continue moving forward and expand our reach, grow our services and strengthen our support, because when it comes to matters of women and families, we remain committed to changing futures and changing lives.

A little goes a long way -- even $25 or $50 helps us provide housing and legal services to help victims of domestic violence get out of harmful relationships. It ensures the day-to-day operations of the Center and our drop-in services. It helps unemployed women learn new work skills and find jobs. It helps reduce poverty and homelessness in our community.
