VICTIM SERVICES:  ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT

We are a lifeline for individuals who have experienced crime or violence.  Each year, we provide critical support to hundreds of survivors, including those affected by domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, gun violence, and other crimes. No matter your age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or legal status, we are here to help. 

Our trauma-informed services include:

• Crisis Intervention and Safety Planning: Immediate support tailored to your needs and circumstances.

• Case Management:  Individualized guidance to navigate resources, services, and next steps.

• Legal Support: Assistance with restraining orders, custody battles, divorce coaching, immigration matters, employment rights, and more.

• Therapeutic Services: Counseling, support groups, and innovative therapies to address trauma and build resilience.

• Equine-Assisted Therapy – Healing through guided interactions with horses.

• Creative Arts Therapy – Expressive arts-based approaches to process trauma.

• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – Evidence-informed therapy for trauma recovery.

Our focus is always on what is best for you.      

Raising Awareness and Building Solutions:  WRIC offers training for law enforcement, medical professionals, educators, and community organizations to recognize the signs of abuse, and connect survivors to resources.
